Introduction<\/h2>\n

We have seen dozens of messengers ranging from Facebook to Snapchat. We all have accounts here and there, but things get worse when we do not remember our passwords. To solve such issues we needed new and modern tools that can help us things to remember. Meet Ferdi, it is a messaging browser that helps you to stay connected with your family, friends, and team members at work in one window. There is something unique about Ferdi that is it connects with all famous platforms.<\/p>\n

Now I am going to demonstrate how to install Ferdi messenger on Ubuntu 20.10 Linux system. I believe you will find it enjoyable.<\/p>\n

Step 1. Download Ferdi Messenger<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Ferdi is free open-source software. However, it does not exist in Linux repositories. Therefore, you will need to grab .deb binaries for Ubuntu.<\/p>\n

Step 2. Install Ferdi Messenger on Ubuntu<\/h2>\n

Once downloaded grab the .deb binaries from the Download folder as shown below:<\/p>\n

Double click on the setup files and your gdebi<\/strong> installer will begin the installation.<\/p>\n

To continue installation, you will need to enter your system password. Once installation is finished you will see gdebi<\/strong> message.<\/p>\n

Installation is finished now.<\/p>\n

Step 3. Confirm the Ferdi Installation<\/h2>\n

It is the best choice to look into your system dashboard to confirm the installation of Ferdi. Sometimes it happens that you will not find installed software in your system menu. This is because the system requires a restart.<\/p>\n

Ferdi will show up in your system dashboard once you search for it as shown above.<\/p>\n

Step 4. Launch Ferdi Messaging Suite<\/strong><\/h2>\n

It is your choice how would you launch the messenger. You have both choices to launch Ferdi. You can use both the command line and dashboard. To launch it from the command line simply type the name \u201cferdi<\/strong>\u201d on CLI, and you will see it launching the messenger.<\/p>\n

If you want to use the system menu to launch your messenger then you can go and search it by name and launch it as shown below:<\/p>\n

Step 5. Remove Ferdi From Ubuntu<\/h2>\n

We can use the standard apt command to remove Ferdi because of .deb binaries. We used .deb binaries to install Ferdi.<\/p>\n

Remarks<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Ferdi centralizes all of your communication with its powerful servers. It is highly stable and takes less memory on Ubuntu. However, it requires larger disk storage to be readily available.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
