We all have accounts here and there, but things get worse when we do not remember our passwords. To solve such issues we needed new and modern tools that can help us things to remember. Meet Ferdi, it is a messaging browser that helps you to stay connected with your family, friends, and team members at work in one window. There is something unique about Ferdi that is it connects with all famous platforms.<\/p>\n<p>Now I am going to demonstrate how to install Ferdi messenger on Ubuntu 20.10 Linux system. I believe you will find it enjoyable.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Step 1. Download Ferdi Messenger<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Ferdi is free open-source software. However, it does not exist in Linux repositories. Therefore, you will need to grab .deb binaries for Ubuntu.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"792\" height=\"544\" class=\"wp-image-11519\" src=\"http:\/\/linuxways.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/word-image-560.png\" srcset=\"https:\/\/linuxways.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/word-image-560.png 792w, https:\/\/linuxways.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/word-image-560-300x206.png 300w, https:\/\/linuxways.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/word-image-560-768x528.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 792px) 100vw, 792px\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>Step 2. Install Ferdi Messenger on Ubuntu<\/h2>\n<p>Once downloaded grab the .deb binaries from the Download folder as shown below:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"346\" height=\"144\" class=\"wp-image-11520\" src=\"http:\/\/linuxways.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/word-image-561.png\" srcset=\"https:\/\/linuxways.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/word-image-561.png 346w, https:\/\/linuxways.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/word-image-561-300x125.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 346px) 100vw, 346px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Double click on the setup files and your <strong>gdebi<\/strong> installer will begin the installation.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"547\" height=\"423\" class=\"wp-image-11521\" src=\"http:\/\/linuxways.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/word-image-562.png\" srcset=\"https:\/\/linuxways.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/word-image-562.png 547w, https:\/\/linuxways.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/word-image-562-300x232.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 547px) 100vw, 547px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>To continue installation, you will need to enter your system password. Once installation is finished you will see <strong>gdebi<\/strong> message.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"501\" height=\"202\" class=\"wp-image-11522\" src=\"http:\/\/linuxways.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/word-image-563.png\" srcset=\"https:\/\/linuxways.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/word-image-563.png 501w, https:\/\/linuxways.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/word-image-563-300x121.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 501px) 100vw, 501px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Installation is finished now.<\/p>\n<h2>Step 3. Confirm the Ferdi Installation<\/h2>\n<p>It is the best choice to look into your system dashboard to confirm the installation of Ferdi. Sometimes it happens that you will not find installed software in your system menu. Launch <strong>Ferdi Messaging Suite<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>It is your choice how would you launch the messenger. You have both choices to launch Ferdi. You can use both the command line and dashboard. Remove Ferdi From Ubuntu<\/h2>\n<p>We can use the standard apt command to remove Ferdi because of .deb binaries. We used .deb binaries to install Ferdi.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"384\" height=\"98\" class=\"wp-image-11526\" src=\"http:\/\/linuxways.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/word-image-567.png\" srcset=\"https:\/\/linuxways.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/word-image-567.png 384w, https:\/\/linuxways.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/word-image-567-300x77.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 384px) 100vw, 384px\" \/><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Remarks<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Ferdi centralizes all of your communication with its powerful servers. It is highly stable and takes less memory on Ubuntu.
