Using Psensor, you can monitor:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>CPU usage<\/li>\n<li>Fan speed<\/li>\n<li>Temperature of motherboard and CPU sensors<\/li>\n<li>Temperature of graphics card<\/li>\n<li>Temperature of Hard Disk Drives<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In today\u2019s post, we will be installing the Psensor temperature monitoring application on Ubuntu 20.04 LTS OS.<\/p>\n<h2>Installing Psensor on Ubuntu (Via Command Line)<\/h2>\n<p>In this method, we will be installing Psensor on Ubuntu OS via the command line. Below are the steps that need to be followed in order to install Psensor:<\/p>\n<p>1. Psensor requires <strong>lm-sensor and hddtemp to be installed on the system. You can install these prerequisites through the command below:<\/strong><\/p>\n<pre><strong>$ sudo apt install lm-sensor hddtemp<\/strong><\/pre>\n<p>2. Now you can install Psensor through the command below:<\/p>\n<pre><strong>$ sudo apt install psensor<\/strong><\/pre>\n<p>After running the apt command, you will be asked if you want to proceed with the installation. Below are the steps that need to be followed in order to install Psensor:<\/p>\n<p>1. First, launch Software Center in your system. To do so, press the windows key and search Software Center through the search box at the top.<\/p>\n<p>2. Click the search icon located at the top left corner of the Software Center window. It will open the search bar through which you can search Psensor Temperature Monitoring Application. Then the below window will show up. After that, authentication window will appear.
