However, this is not true. There is a wide range of software available in the market that you can use to edit your PDFs. Generally, the users prefer built-in tools or utilities to edit PDFs rather than installing an external application. Today, we are going to share with you the method of editing a PDF in Linux Mint 20.<\/p>\n<h2>Method of Editing a PDF in Linux Mint 20:<\/h2>\n<p>Instead of using a third-party tool for editing a PDF, you can use a built-in tool in Linux Mint 20 i.e. LibreOffice Draw. We wanted to edit a PDF named PDF1.pdf. After selecting your desired PDF, click on the Open button as highlighted in the following image:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"797\" height=\"557\" class=\"wp-image-1503\" src=\"http:\/\/linuxways.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/word-image-287.png\" srcset=\"https:\/\/linuxways.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/word-image-287.png 797w, https:\/\/linuxways.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/word-image-287-300x210.png 300w, https:\/\/linuxways.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/word-image-287-768x537.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 797px) 100vw, 797px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Once your PDF will be opened with LibreOffice Draw, you can edit your PDF just the way you want. In our case, a line, \u201cHi. This is a PDF File.\u201d was already written. I have added another line to it, \u201cI Have Edited this PDF\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"786\" height=\"562\" class=\"wp-image-1504\" src=\"http:\/\/linuxways.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/word-image-288.png\" srcset=\"https:\/\/linuxways.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/word-image-288.png 786w, https:\/\/linuxways.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/word-image-288-300x215.png 300w, https:\/\/linuxways.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/word-image-288-768x549.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 786px) 100vw, 786px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Now click on the \u201cExport\u201d icon to save your edited PDF as highlighted in the image shown below:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"786\" height=\"132\" class=\"wp-image-1505\" src=\"http:\/\/linuxways.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/word-image-289.png\" srcset=\"https:\/\/linuxways.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/word-image-289.png 786w, https:\/\/linuxways.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/word-image-289-300x50.png 300w, https:\/\/linuxways.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/word-image-289-768x129.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 786px) 100vw, 786px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>You can either save the edited file with the same name or you can even have a different name with your newly edited file as we did. Although, there are lots of other external tools available with which you can edit your PDFs.
