It allows users to purchase and play thousands of games. To be able to use this service, you have to create an account. After that, you will be able to access the same games from any computer device. There is a variety of games available on the platform, both paid and free. The app is free to download.<\/p>\n<p>In this tutorial, we will explore some easy-to-follow commands to install Steam on our system. To demonstrate the process, we have used Manjaro Linux as the operating system.<\/p>\n<p>Let\u2019s begin the installation!<\/p>\n<h2>Installation Guide:<\/h2>\n<p>We will follow the steps below to install the application on our machine.<\/p>\n<h3>Step 1: Enable multilib repository<\/h3>\n<p>The very first step is to enable the multilib repository which can be done by opening the pacman configuration file. Use the command below to go to the file.<\/p>\n<pre>nano \/etc\/pacman.conf<\/pre>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"313\" height=\"25\" class=\"wp-image-15517\" src=\"http:\/\/linuxways.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/word-image-649.png\" srcset=\"https:\/\/linuxways.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/word-image-649.png 313w, https:\/\/linuxways.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/word-image-649-300x24.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 313px) 100vw, 313px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Scroll down and look for multilib lines. All flatpak packages are stored in Flathub. Enable flathub by running this command:<\/p>\n<pre>sudo flatpak remote-add --if-not-exists flathub https:\/\/flathub.org\/repo\/flathub.flatpakrepo<\/pre>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"936\" height=\"27\" class=\"wp-image-15521\" src=\"http:\/\/linuxways.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/word-image-653.png\" srcset=\"https:\/\/linuxways.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/word-image-653.png 936w, https:\/\/linuxways.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/word-image-653-300x9.png 300w, https:\/\/linuxways.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/word-image-653-768x22.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 936px) 100vw, 936px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Once it is enabled, we will be able to install flatpak packages.<\/p>\n<h3>Step 4: Verify Steam repository is enabled<\/h3>\n<p>Run the command mentioned below to obtain the list of packages that are present in the multilib repository.<\/p>\n<pre>pacman -Sl multilib<\/pre>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"279\" height=\"25\" class=\"wp-image-15522\" src=\"http:\/\/linuxways.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/word-image-654.png\" \/><\/p>\n<p>It will list down a number of packages. To do that, go to the start menu, and look for Steam. The whole process will take around 5 to 8 minutes or perhaps lesser than that, depending on your system and the internet connection.
