Foxit Reader is a free, easy-to-use, and multi-platform <strong>PDF Reader that allows you to read, edit, print, <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/linuxways.net\/de\/ubuntu\/how-to-digitally-sign-a-pdf\/\">sign<\/a><strong>, and share PDF files.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In today\u2019s post, we will be installing Foxit Reader on openSUSE Leap 15.3.<\/p>\n<h2>Installing Foxit Reader on openSUSE<\/h2>\n<p>Follow the steps outlined below in order to install the Foxit Reader on openSUSE:<\/p>\n<p>1. Visit <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxit.com\/downloads\/#Foxit-Reader\/\">Foxit<\/a> official website and download the Foxit Reader package for Linux OS (32-bit or 64-bit). Or execute the below command to download Foxit Reader:<\/p>\n<pre>$ wget <a href=\"https:\/\/cdn01.foxitsoftware.com\/pub\/foxit\/reader\/desktop\/linux\/2.x\/2.4\/en_us\/FoxitReader.enu.setup.2.4.4.0911.x64.run.tar.gz\">https:\/\/cdn01.foxitsoftware.com\/pub\/foxit\/reader\/desktop\/linux\/2.x\/2.4\/en_us\/FoxitReader.enu.setup.2.4.4.0911.x64.run.tar.gz<\/a><\/pre>\n<p>The downloaded file will be saved as <strong>FoxitReader.enu.setup.2.4.4.0911.x64.run.tar.gz<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"898\" height=\"401\" class=\"wp-image-15720\" src=\"http:\/\/linuxways.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/word-image-744.png\" srcset=\"https:\/\/linuxways.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/word-image-744.png 898w, https:\/\/linuxways.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/word-image-744-300x134.png 300w, https:\/\/linuxways.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/word-image-744-768x343.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 898px) 100vw, 898px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>2. Execute the below command to extract the tar file:<\/p>\n<pre>$ tar -zxf FoxitReader.enu.setup.2.4.4.0911.x64.run.tar.gz<\/pre>\n<p>3. To verify if the file has been extracted, execute the below command:<\/p>\n<pre>$ ls<\/pre>\n<p>In the output, you can find the extracted file as well as the tar file.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"971\" height=\"128\" class=\"wp-image-15721\" src=\"http:\/\/linuxways.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/word-image-745.png\" srcset=\"https:\/\/linuxways.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/word-image-745.png 971w, https:\/\/linuxways.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/word-image-745-300x40.png 300w, https:\/\/linuxways.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/word-image-745-768x101.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 971px) 100vw, 971px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>4. Now in order to install the Foxit Reader, you will need to run the installer file. You can run the installer file by either double-clicking the <strong>FoxitReader.enu.setup.2.4.4.0911.x64.run file<\/strong> or by executing the below command:<\/p>\n<pre>$ .\/ FoxitReader.enu.setup.2.4.4.0911.x64.run.tar.gz<\/pre>\n<p>This will launch the following installer. Enter the path where you want to install Foxit Reader or you can also leave the default path selected and click <strong>Next<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"502\" height=\"432\" class=\"wp-image-15722\" src=\"http:\/\/linuxways.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/word-image-746.png\" srcset=\"https:\/\/linuxways.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/word-image-746.png 502w, https:\/\/linuxways.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/word-image-746-300x258.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 502px) 100vw, 502px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Choose <strong>I accept the license<\/strong> and click <strong>Next<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"501\" height=\"431\" class=\"wp-image-15723\" src=\"http:\/\/linuxways.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/word-image-747.png\" srcset=\"https:\/\/linuxways.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/word-image-747.png 501w, https:\/\/linuxways.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/word-image-747-300x258.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 501px) 100vw, 501px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Now the installation of Foxit Reader will be started.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"495\" height=\"428\" class=\"wp-image-15724\" src=\"http:\/\/linuxways.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/word-image-748.png\" srcset=\"https:\/\/linuxways.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/word-image-748.png 495w, https:\/\/linuxways.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/word-image-748-300x259.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 495px) 100vw, 495px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Once Foxit reader is installed, you will see the following window displaying the path where Foxit is installed.
