By default, the user is added to the group <strong>users; <\/strong>however, you can add a user to a new group. To do so, first, you have to create a group using the below syntax command:<\/p>\n<div class=\"codecolorer-container bash blackboard\" style=\"width:100%;\"><div class=\"bash codecolorer\"><span class=\"kw2\">sudo<\/span> groupadd group_name<\/div><\/div>\n<p>Replace the <strong>group_name<\/strong> with the name of the group.
