Install Blender on Ubuntu System<\/h2>\n

Step 1: Add PPA repository to the system<\/h3>\n

You would need to go to Ubuntu Launchpad via https:\/\/launchpad.net\/~thomas-schiex\/+archive\/ubuntu\/blender<\/a> link.<\/p>\n

Add PPA repositories to your operating system. We are using Thomas Schiex\u2019s PPA here which is the only repository that gets continuous support.<\/p>\n

Step 2: Update the repository<\/h3>\n
Once done, you would need to update your local apt repositories. Always Do It!<\/p>\n

sudo apt-get update<\/pre>\n
Install Blender<\/h3>\n
Now you are ready to install the latest stable version of the Blender.<\/p>\n
Hit the below command, accept the dependencies, and you are good to go.<\/p>\n
sudo apt-get install blender<\/pre>\n

Launch Blender<\/h3>\n
Access the blender from the activity menu just like any other application.<\/p>\n

Remove Blender<\/h2>\n
To remove the blender simply run<\/p>\n
sudo apt-get remove blender<\/pre>\n
